  2. This is so unexpected! So beautiful! That tight/tied bundle against the flow of thread from your hand. The shape is like a small body folded in on itself, seems almost foetal to me. I feel myself choking up. Do you remember that strange poem I e-mailed you last year, Extinct? Somehow I feel that your Woman, weeping, is its complement, the weeping that was displaced in the poem I found here. Does this make any sense to you?
And the strangeness of that last photo, where the focus blurs and blurs in the streaming down of the thread – it is vertigo-inducing and while I scroll down I feel I fall into another sphere, another time.

  3. Just beautiful - I agree with eb that the work feels like a Pause in the world - a meditation - your work is so sensitive - thank you

  4. such a comfort object (and yes unexpected). soft white and a delicate expellation of a quiet weeping widow. she is also a bit grub like no? her body head folded back on itself awaiting the sleep and rest of healing altering metamorphosis.
Her tears and tresses become her cloak. oh how I would like to hold her.

  6. I'd love to touch this piece. I think it'd feel great to drop it from one hand into the other feeling the fringe puddle before the heavier, more substanital wrapping lands on your hand.

This piece sums up my week. Lets call it pregnancy hormones mixed with a huge big mess in the house and a partner who is (rightly) absorbed with his new job.

  7. you are a delicate poet.
the ways you marry your images with the content of your mind, so subtle. surprising me, and to make the spoon almost unraveled, like a weeping woman who one couldn't actually take up...all is wet and flowing, not solid.

    brilliantly arranged.

  8. The title is perfect for the piece. I really sense the emotional aspect of it.

  9. oh mien, so soft and subtle and beautiful... I am at a loss for words... the weeping women dissolving herself in the liquid matter, becoming water, flowing with time, the spoon holding life and giving it back, until it looses its own, the most sublime sacrifice. so wonderful!
(thank you for your long comment on my blog a while back, I treasure your words...)

  10. what to say that not is already said.
It's simple magic what you do here.
You are deeply rooted in your art, isn't it....because this is pure soul-food!
